PerkinElmer, Hopkinton, MA
This annual event is a crusade to fight cancer and change the lives of those affected by this disease, with 100% of proceeds benefiting The Jimmy Fund/Dana-Farber. This event is also a tribute to the five whose lives were lost in the April 2013 Boston bombings, and follows the route of the B.A.A. Boston Marathon in their honor.
My name is Fred Georgoulis.
Since learning that my wife, Denise Georgoulis, was stricken with breast cancer, I have been fundraising with The Jimmy Fund in her honor. This is a cause that has been near and dear to my heart for over 8 years. Six years ago I made it my quest to fight for children and adults alike. This is a worthy cause, and if I can change one person’s life it will have all been worthwhile.
Now I ask you: Won’t you join me?
